Congratulations to Athletico’s Newest Board-Certified Specialists
Leave a CommentAt Athletico, our clinicians undergo advanced training and pursue certifications, for the experience and education necessary to provide our patients with the highest standard of care. For this reason, we take a moment to recognize the clinicians who have committed to their education and their practice in becoming board-certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). These credentials are designated by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) to those who have successfully become board-certified clinical specialists working with orthopaedic diagnoses.
A physical therapist can specialize in this area through either successful completion of residencies or self-study. Athletico proudly offers orthopaedic residency programs to our clinicians through our long-lasting partnership with Evidence in Motion (EIM). EIM represents a “first-in-class” environment for prospective residents to receive the highest caliber of training to become distinguished leaders in evidence-based orthopaedic practice. Whether residency or self-study, each pathway is followed by a board-specialty examination to demonstrate expertise in the respective area. Congratulations to Athletico’s newest board-certified orthopaedic specialists!
