Zach Gregory Memorial Patient Satisfaction Award
In memory of Zach Gregory: April 12, 1985 – June 4, 2011
Each year Athletico Physical Therapy awards a clinic and individual clinician the Zach Gregory Memorial Award. This award embodies the true spirit of what it means to offer world class customer service, live life to its fullest, and to share health and wellness within our communities. It reminds us all how important it is to treat every patient with the utmost respect, and strive to get them back on their feet with a new vigor and passion for living life. Zach Gregory, DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy), was the true embodiment of Athletico customer service by making the people around him smile, and obtaining results for his patients.
On June 4th, 2011 Zach died while participating in the Chicago Half Marathon, and to honor his life the Zach Gregory Memorial Customer Service award was created. Athletico is proud to announce this award each year, and it is a constant reminder of how every employee strives to differentiate and maximize the patient experience. It is awarded to the clinic and clinician that have the highest patient satisfaction scores across the company. This number is obtained through our patient satisfaction data which is captured from a third party outcome system known as FOTO. A plaque is displayed at Athletico’s corporate office to signify a place of remembrance, celebration, and commitment to patient-centric care that is exemplified throughout Athletico’s Facilities.

2023Erika Kurzac, PT, DPT of our Kenosha North, WI clinic was the recipient of the clinician award with the best patient satisfaction score. Erika achieved a 100% patient satisfaction score. Athletico Grimes, IA, was the recipient of the clinic award with the best clinic patient satisfaction score. They had the highest score ever recorded by a clinic in the 13-year history of the award, and the first patient satisfaction award for a clinic in Iowa. |

2022Stephanie Bradley-Diehl from our Waverly, IA clinic was the recipient of the clinician award. Stephanie earned this award with an amazing 99.71% patient satisfaction score. Athletico Franklin, IN, was the recipient of the clinic award. The Franklin clinic is recognized with the highest satisfaction of any clinic in 2022 at 99.39%. |

2021Deborah Wildenhaus, PT of our Jackson Northwest, MI clinic was the recipient of the clinician award with the best patient satisfaction score. Athletico Jackson Northwest, MI, was the recipient of the clinic award with the best clinic patient satisfaction score. They had the 2nd highest score ever recorded by a clinic. |
