6 CommentsTwenty years ago today, Mark Kaufman founded Athletico Physical and Occupational Therapy. Over the past two decades, Athletico has grown tremendously, offering the community a quality option for all of their rehabilitation needs.
It is fitting that today, as the Athletico family celebrates 20 years, the Athletico Blog is launched. This blog was created to extend Athletico’s expertise in the healthcare industry and foster an environment where patients and readers can be educated on all areas of their well-being. The goal of the blog is to provide an interactive source for patient education, focusing on both reader questions and trending topics related to our industry.
We will have a handful of regular bloggers, as well as guest bloggers, to cover all aspects of the healthcare continuum that are important to you. If you have any questions, feedback, or topics you’d like to see covered, please send us a note. Thanks for reading!

My recent visits to Athletico in Fox Lake, Illinois resulted in another successful physical therapy session. Special kudos to Kasey Mills for her expertise and consistent professionalism, combined with a great sense of humor. The entire staff is welcoming, energetic, and caring. I swear Kasey has eyes in the back of her head, because she is constantly aware of everything that goes on in the room. Two years ago she fixed my rotator cuff, which allowed me to avoid surgery, and this year she fixed a fractured wrist. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of physical therapy. Ten out of ten for Athletico, Fox Lake!

I absolutely would recommend the Fox Lake location, Jake up my Physical therapist was great and gave me lots of help with exercises to help me recover from my back surgery, I would recommend a place to anybody 10 out of 10

The therapists and staff are
very friendly,helpful and professional.
They treated me for a neck injury due to a car accident.
The road seemed long and grim,but I got through it.
