AthletiCo Receives 2009 Illinois Athletic Trainers Association Hospital/Clinic Award

AthletiCo was recently named the recipient of the 2009 Illinois Athletic Trainers Association Hospital/Clinic Award for commitment to the athletic training and sports medicine profession.  Jason Bannack, Director of Athletic Training Services, accepted the award on behalf of AthletiCo.

Our Certified Athletic Trainers (ATs) are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients.  Athletic training encompasses the prevention, elevation, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities (NATA).  Congratulations to all of our certified athletic trainers for the work you do to advance the profession and keep our communities healthy!
