Athletico’s Travel PT Program allows licensed therapists the freedom and flexibility of working at one of our clinics across the U.S. For new graduates who are looking to explore or seasoned clinicians looking for a change, this is the perfect opportunity to experience new destinations while doing what you love.
Travel PTs in this program are full-time Athletico employees in 13-week rotations with access to benefits, CEUs, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Each clinic uses the same EMR system, which helps to ease the transition between traveling assignments, allowing therapists to be as effective as possible on day one.

Nancy F, MA, PTSenior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Co-Lead on Internal Travel Program and Advisor for Travelers Nancy joined Athletico in 2022 as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with a cooperative lead to develop an Internal Travel Program. She has over 30 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, in Leadership, Management, Marketing and Program Development. In her prior role as a National Director, she developed a Nationwide Travel program from the ground floor to a full Travel Program for Health Professionals. Nancy has a passion for people, helping people and developing lasting relationships. Nancy received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas and her MA in Movement Science in New York at the Teachers College Columbia University. |
Amy S, PTTalent Acquisition Specialist, Co-Lead on Internal Travel Program and Advisor for Travelers Amy joined Athletico in 2022 as a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a background in recruiting and marketing in a Leadership role. A part of the Athletico team, she shared a vision to develop an Internal Travel Program. She began her career as a traveling Physical Therapist, working all over the country in various settings for over five years. She found her passion in the variety and progressed into a Director Role for the St. Louis market for local contract placements with a national company. After 15 years as a treating PT, she found her strength and passion was helping therapists navigate the right “fit” for them and developing relationships. Amy received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Maryville University of Saint Louis. |
