Joanne O’Malley

Joanne O’Malley, JD, MBA, CHC serves as Athletico’s Chief Compliance and Risk Officer. After joining the company in 2008, Joanne formalized and expanded Athletico’s Compliance and Risk Management program, enhancing its commitment to operating with integrity and maintaining a culture of compliance. She oversees all facets of the program including regulatory compliance, safety, emergency preparedness, infection control, and release of information. Joanne leads a team of professionals responsible for the administration of policies, procedures and standards of conduct that supports the organization in adhering to applicable regulations while achieving business goals.

Joanne has more than thirty years of healthcare compliance and risk management experience in a variety of settings. She obtained her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and her Master of Business Administration from Saint Xavier University. She also holds a certification in healthcare compliance (CHC).
