Athletico Physical Therapy Announces New Director of Education and Clinical Programs

Oak Brook, IL—Athletico Physical Therapy is proud to announce Travis Egli, PT, DPT, COMT, FAAOMPT as the Director of Education and Clinical Programs. In this role, Egli will be responsible for managing and advancing Athletico’s clinical based continuing education and clinical program initiatives in compliance with all accreditation and licensure requirements.

Egli will provide professional leadership and support and serve as the key resource for professional education. He will oversee Athletico University, student clinical education and clinical programs while working directly with clinicians from the Education Committee, regional Athletico University contacts, the manager of Student Clinical Education and the respective clinical program managers.

Athletico University is an accredited and approved in-house continuing education provider for physical therapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists and athletic trainers. Athletico continues to strive for educational and clinical excellence by providing our therapists with the educational tools to become experts in our field. Egli brings nearly a decade of experience working with individuals with spinal and peripheral dysfunctions focusing on the interaction of the extremity with the spine. His treatment model emphasizes the biomechanical and neurophysiological effects of manipulation and movement pattern retraining through specific exercise prescription.

Egli is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists and completed his training through the Institute of Manipulative Physiotherapy and Clinical Training. He is a Certified Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. In addition, he is an American Physical Therapy Association Certified Clinical Instructor.

Egli holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of Northern Iowa and a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the Des Moines University.
