Athletico Physical Therapy Opens New Location in Olivette

Saint Louis, Mo. —Athletico has opened a new location in Olivette. This outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinic is one of a kind in the St. Louis area. At over 9,000 square feet, the clinic will offer services customized for injured workers, endurance athletes as well as weekend athletes and the senior population. “The amount of space we have allows for multiple therapists with specializations under one roof.” Stated Jim Host, Vice President of Clinical Operations.

The Olivette clinic opened Monday, July 25th, at 8622 Olive Blvd., Olivette, MO 63132.

“Our new location is less than one mile east of Highway 170 and will be a convenient clinic for the communities of Olivette, Creve Coeur, University City, Overland and Pagedale.” Said Jacob Bauman, MPT, CMPT, Facility Manager of Athletico. “This space is incredible. It allows us to have injured workers performing specific job simulation tasks like climbing a ladder to a second floor platform and have a dedicated space for endurance athletes undergoing jump analysis to correct any deficiencies in their landing style during volleyball or basketball that may cause injury.”

• Physical therapy – Personalized treatment plans, developed in partnership with patients, provide rehabilitation for different issues including back and neck pain, sport, work or auto injuries, muscle strains and sprains, post-operative care and joint replacement therapy to name a few.
• Work Comp Services – From the time of injury through case closure, our Work Comp services make the entire process a cost-effective and timely process for everyone involved. Work Comp services include: Physical Therapy, Occupational/Hand Therapy, Work Conditioning, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Early Intervention Services, Ergonomic Evaluations, Job Analysis, Fit for Duty and Post Offer Testing.
• Endurance Rehabilitation – Our professional staff is equipped to analyze and correct movement deviations, as well as treat injuries to return endurance athletes to pre-injury performance levels.
• Complimentary injury screenings – A 30-minute free assessment performed by a licensed clinician who reviews your musculoskeletal complaint, as well as assess movement impairments and discuss how this is affecting activities of daily living.
