Waterloo, IA. —Athletico will open its second location in the community of Waterloo at 1655 East San Marnan Drive, Ste A, just across the street from Crossroads Mall. Athletico is thrilled to expand in this market and deliver exceptional care in Eastern Iowa.
“The Waterloo South Clinic is at the epicenter of Waterloo commerce, shopping, and physicians’ offices for added convenience. This clinic accepts most insurances and offers evaluations within 24-48 hours after requesting an initial appointment” states Krista Wills, PT, DPT, Facility Manager at the new location.

- Physical therapy – Personalized treatment plans, developed in partnership with patients, provide rehabilitation for different issues including back and neck pain, sport, work or auto injuries, muscle strains and sprains or joint replacement therapy to name a few.
- Work Comp Services – From the time of injury through case closure, our Work Comp services make the entire process a cost-effective and timely manner for everyone involved. Work Comp services include: Physical Therapy, Occupational/Hand Therapy, Work Conditioning, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Ergonomic Evaluations, Job Analysis and Post Offer Testing.
- Astym® – The Astym® system is an evidence-based, non-invasive rehabilitation program that stimulates the body’s regenerative healing process. The goal of Astym® treatment is to encourage the body’s healing response by helping to rejuvenate muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
- ACL 3P Program – Athletico Physical Therapists are committed to providing effective rehabilitation and return to play programs. With ACL 3P, With ACL 3P, athletes learn how to prevent injury, and progress through rehabilitation to perform at their highest level.
- Complimentary injury screenings – A 30-minute free assessment performed by a licensed clinician who can review an injury or problem to your musculoskeletal complaint, as well as, assess movement impairments and discuss how this is impacting activities of daily living.
